UV-CIPP Liner for Pressure Pipe


The UV-CIPP Liner for Pressure Pipe is developed specifically for gravity working conditions with internal pressure, including pressure sewage pipelines, pump station outlet pipelines, and high-water-level pressure-bearing drainage pipes. After inflation expansion and UV light curing, it forms an independent pressure-bearing lining pipe capable of enduring long-term positive internal pressure, external soil pressure, and groundwater pressure. It is applicable to the trenchless rehabilitation of gravity pipes such as concrete pipes, steel pipes, cast iron pipes and PE pipes with nominal diameters ranging from DN150 to DN1400.

Application

1. Pressure drainage pipes at municipal pump station outlets, and gravity drainage pipelines with extremely high groundwater levels (groundwater level higher than the pipe crown);

2. Severely damaged aged pipelines with failed original structures, where the old pipes can no longer bear loads and the lining must independently withstand pressure;

3. Pipelines passing under railways, rivers or soft soil foundations with large foundation settlement, requiring the lining to independently resist external and internal pressure;

4. Rehabilitation of sewage lift pipes, intermediate pressurized drainage pipelines and high-pressure-bearing drainage pipe networks in coastal areas;

5. Renovation projects of aged pipe networks with severe water seepage through pipe joints and continuous groundwater inflow into the pipe cavity.

Composition

01. Outer film (UV protection film)
Isolate ultraviolet rays from sunlight to prevent material curing.

02. External Fleece Layer
Prevent groundwater infiltration and protects the fiberglass layer.

03. Glass fiber impregnated with resin
The liner’s primary structural layer delivers robust acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and yields exceptional strength and toughness upon curing.

04. Inner foil
It is in direct contact with the fluid and features excellent light transmittance, facilitating the penetration of ultraviolet light.

Glide foil installation

Install the pulley, lay the glide foil.

Liner Pulling and packer installation

Pull in the liner, and tie the packer.

Entry of UV light train

Inflate and pressurize, lower the light train.

UV Light Curing Control

Inflate, turn on the light to cure.

Treatment of Pipe end

Cut the packer, and grind the pipe and liner end flat.

CCTV Inspection

Recheck the pipe, and clean up the site.
